MISSION Command the M4 Sherman in WWII. Destroy German Panzer barracks while defending your base from an armored onslaught. STRATEGY Push sandbags into position to create cover and block enemy shells. Use the environment to build your own fortifications. DEADLOCK WARNING Watch your path! If you get trapped by sandbags, you will be rendered immobile. This is a tactical failure. In this state, the mission is over; you must refresh the page (F5) to redeploy your M4. WIN / LOSS WIN: Destroy enemy barracks. LOSS: M4 destroyed, base leveled, or trapped by sandbags.
How to Play
Fast reflexes and sharper aim will carry you through Steel Advance. Your goal is to survive each wave, clear the stage, and push your score higher each run. Controls: Use WASD or the arrow keys to move, and mouse or spacebar for primary attacks. Controls respond instantly, so keep your hands ready. Tips to get better: Early levels are practice. Use them to learn the rhythm before the difficulty spikes. Your worst runs are usually the most educational. Note what went wrong before restarting. Power-ups are more valuable when you save them for the moment you're about to lose. If you're drawn to games with a steel, advance flavor, Steel Advance hits that spot cleanly.
