A small online game in which you have to build a barrage tower and hold back squads of monsters for several dozen levels. At your disposal are automatic turrets and the main character, whose parameters can be improved. Additionally, you can build other buildings using the resources that drop from defeated enemies.
Nova Defender throws you into non-stop action from the first second. Clear the level, take out the boss, and see how deep into the game you can get before you fall. Controls: On desktop, arrow keys and spacebar handle most of what you need. On mobile, tap and swipe cover the same moves. Tips to get better: Dying (or restarting) is fast. Treat the first few runs as exploration, not performance. Sound cues matter. If the game has audio feedback, don't mute it on tough levels. Your worst runs are usually the most educational. Note what went wrong before restarting. If you're drawn to games with a nova, defender flavor, Nova Defender hits that spot cleanly. Whether you're aiming for the leaderboard or just unwinding, Nova Defender fits both moods.
